Third-seeded Lakeville North takes on Rocori in the quarterfinal round of the Class 3A state baseball tournament at 3 p.m. Thursday at Midway Stadium in St. Paul. The Panthers enter the tournament with a 19-4 record after upsetting Burnsville in the Section 3AAA championship game. This will be North's first appearance in the state baseball tournament. Rocori is a two-time state champion. The winner of today's game will meet the winner of the Rochester Mayo-Minnetonka game in Friday's semifinal round. The loser moves into Friday's consolation round.
