Lakeville's Jamison Murphy Headed to L.A. to Record First Album
An Indiegogo fundraising campaign has raised more than $3,000 to make his first record in Los Angeles. He'll work with Warren Huart, a producer with a Grammy nomination to his name, the Star Tribune reported.

He played through a broken guitar string at a Lakeville South High School homecoming coronation. Now the Star Tribune reports Jamison Murphy, 24, is raising money to pay for a trip to Los Angeles to record his first album.
Murphy's Indiegogo fundraising effort passed his $3,000 goal and as of early Thursday stood at $3,281. (The fundraising period ends Aug. 11 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.)
