Last Chance: Girl Scout Cookie Sales End This Weekend

If you haven't stocked up on Girl Scout cookies yet this year, there are several locations in Lakeville this weekend to help satisfy last-minute cravings.

As of 2007, sales of Girl Scout Cookies were estimated at about 200 million boxes per year, and time is running out for your to get your share this year.

Cookie sales for 2012 will wrap up this weekend at locations all across the Twin Cities, with the last chance to purchase the tasty treats in Lakeville happening this weekend.

According to the Girl Scouts website, the most popular varieties of cookies are:

  • 25 percent Thin Mints
  • 19 percent Samoas/Caramel deLites
  • 13 percent Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs
  • 11 percent Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos
  • 9 percent Shortbread/Trefoils
  • 23 percent other varieties
