Local Dancer To Perform in Professional Production of Nutcracker Ballet

Lakeville student performing lead role of Clara in Twin Cities Ballet's cherished holiday classic "A Minnesota Nutcracker" at Ames Center

This coming December Lakeville resident Christina Cummings will be dancing the lead role of Clara in Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota’s professional ballet production, “A Minnesota Nutcracker.”

Christina is currently an Apprentice with Twin Cities Ballet and a student in the Professional Trainee Division day program at Ballet Royale Minnesota, Twin Cities Ballet official school and one of the foremost ballet academies in Minnesota. This is the Christina’s first year dancing the role of Clara

A fresh rendition of the beloved holiday classic, Twin Cities Ballet’s “A Minnesota Nutcracker” retains all the magic and traditions of the classic Nutcracker ballet, but with a Minnesota twist! “A Minnesota Nutcracker” features Minnesota settings with stunning custom designed Minnesota-centric backdrops, and offering audience members something truly unique; a connection to home. Deemed one of the 12 essential holiday events by MPR, “A Minnesota Nutcracker” is delightful entertainment for the whole family!
