Here is this week’s edition of Lakeville Messages, which features a story about the beginning of the Dodd/Highview reconstruction project.
Here is the text of the story:
The Dakota County project for reconstruction of Dodd Boulevard from 183rd Street to 500 feet east of Hayes Avenue in Lakeville has begun. During this project, Dodd Boulevard will become a four-lane divided roadway with a roundabout at the intersection of Dodd and Highview Avenue.
The project includes the reconstruction of Highview Avenue from approximately 1,100 feet south of Dodd to 175th Street. Work currently underway includes
tree removal and relocation of private utilities. New watermain along Dodd Boulevard will also be installed.
CLOSURE:
As part of this project, Dodd Boulevard from 183rd Street to 175th Street and Highview Avenue from 1,100 feet south of Dodd to 175th Street are tentatively scheduled to close to through traffic on June 10 and will remain closed through mid-September.
