Pet of the Week: Cara is Looking a Cozy Lap

Cara is a 3-year-old girl who has good manners in the house and loves being next to people.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Cara is a lovely, friendly 39-pound 3-year-old girl who is being fostered in Lakeville for Happy Hound Rescue, a 501c3 rescue.

She has now been spayed, microchipped and updated on all of her vaccines and vet care. She gets along well with young dogs and loves people. She especially likes rolling on her back for a belly rub. She does tend to chase cats.

Cara is crate trained and housetrained when let out on a schedule. She likes to sleep on a blanket next to one of the kids in her foster home.

She is a very short, petite girl. Cara would like nothing more than a lap to sit on. She has very good manners in the house and loves being next to people.
