Pet of the Week: Rollie is a Stunner

Rollie was rescued from a shelter and is now in foster care in Lakeville awaiting his forever home.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Rollie is a stunning dog who was rescued from a shelter and is now in foster care in Lakeville awaiting his forever home.

He's 10-12 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. We believe he is a boxer-beagle mix with a few other breeds thrown in, and this funny mix has created a gorgeous, lovable, happy and good natured dog.

Rollie is house trained and kennel trailed, and he doesn't bark in the kennel at night.  He sits and is learning down and he is learing to heel. Foster mom says he is a very smart dog and learns new things quickly. He’s a curious boy and likes to follow you around.

Rollie doesn’t chew on things if he has his own toys. Rollie is well on his way to being a fabulous family dog. Rollie does need a fenced yard and would benefit from someone home much of the time to continue his training  He loves going on walks and exploring the world.
