PHOTOS: Full Moon Fun and a July 4th Celebration, Pan-O-Prog Style

Hundreds gather at Lakeville North High School for the Fourth of July fireworks display as the full moon rose over Lakeville.

A small carnival was held on the grounds of before the skies darkened for the annual fireworks display. 

Food vendors lined the west side of the field at Lakeville North, providing snacks and much needed refreshments during the hot and humid evening. Contestants in the upcoming Miss Lakeville pageant gave temporary tattoos to people. A rock wall was provided by the National Guard and music was played by The Castaways. 

As the sun set, sparklers and glow sticks kept some children entertained before the fireworks dislplay. When the lights of the football field were turned off, leaving everything in almost total darkness, the big show began.
