Photos Part 1: Lakeville North's Senior Class Graduates

Lakeville North High School held their graduation commencement on Friday in front of friends and family at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul.

and encouraged graduates to never give up, no matter what life throws at them. Nelson shared his own story of the bad things that have happened in his life, but how he learned to look at the positive things in life.

After the speeches were made, and academic recognitions were given, graduates walked across the stage and received their high school diplomas.

After the beach balls (and inflatable pink flamingo and palm tree) were batted around and everyone received their diplomas, caps were thrown high into the air and the celebrations began. Family and friends joined the graduates on the floor of the auditorium to take pictures and congratulate the class of 2011.
