A Temporary Traffic Change on Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove
A temporary traffic change between Lawndale Lane and Nottingham Parkway in Maple Grove is part of the ongoing Bass Lake Road project.

Traffic along Bass Lake Road over Elm Creek, between Lawndale Lane and Nottingham Parkway, has been moved onto a “temporary bypass” over Elm Creek, according to the city of Maple Grove. The temporary traffic change is part of the
"Drivers should be aware that due to the sharp curves entering the bypass, especially as you travel eastbound, you should proceed with caution and at speeds less than 35 mph,” the city said an e-news release to residents.
The city estimates motorists traveling through Maple Grove will be traveling on the bypass for approximately three to four months. During this time, construction of the westbound bridge over Elm Creek will take place. It is anticipated traffic will be moved to the new bridge for the 2011 winter and a portion of the 2012 summer during eastbound bridge construction.
