Tony Leiserowitz, Director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication, will be the guest speaker (by national conference call) for a meeting of Citizens Climate Lobby Saturday, June 7, at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Grove Library, 8001 Main St. N. The presentation will be “American Public Opinion about Climate Change.” Leiserowitz is an expert on American and international public opinion on global warming, including public perception of climate change risks, support and opposition for climate policies, and willingness to make individual behavioral change.
Locations for other CCL meetings across Minnesota can be seen each month at www.citizensclimatelobby-mn.org. Citizen Climate Lobby is an organization with local chapters across the U.S.A. and Canada. Its purpose is to create the political will to resolve the problem of climate change.
