Amazon Begins Hiring For New Brooklyn Park Center

The online retail giant plans to hire people for 450 permanent, part-time roles in the northwest metro.

BROOKLYN PARK, MN — Amazon is making more hires in the Twin Cities. The online retail giant plans to hire people for 450 permanent, part-time roles at its new sortation center in Brooklyn Park. The center is scheduled to open this fall.

Candidates can receive a job offer on-the-spot at four hiring events. The events will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on:

  • Thursday, Oct. 11
    • (Brooklyn Park Community Center, 5600 85th Ave, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443)
  • Saturday, Oct. 13
    • (Courtyard by Marriott 11871 Fountains Way, Maple Grove, MN 55369)
  • Wednesday, Oct. 17, Thursday, Oct. 18
    • (North Hennepin Community College, 7411 85th Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445, Building is the center for business and technology building room 181)

Amazon's $15 minimum wage will apply for part-time employees at the Brooklyn Park facility, the company said.

Amazon is also hiring for more than 1,000 seasonal roles for its customer fulfillment centers and delivery facilities in the Twin Cities. Candidates can apply here.
