Two New Officers Join Maple Grove Police Department

Two new police officers officially joined the

Carly Potter and Mark Ringgenberg were approved at the March 5 City Council meeting as police officers effective March 20, 2012. Mayor Mark Steffenson administered the oath of office at the Monday, April 2 City Council meeting.

Both of the new police officers went through an "extensive, through hiring process," according to Maple Grove Police Chief David Jess at the meeting.

"They should be proud of their accomplishment and we here at Maple Grove are very fortunate to have them serving with us," Jess said.
