The store will be open regular hours on Saturday, March 24 before closing, according to Ann Taylor Manager Kathleen Whistler. The store's 11 full and part time employees will be transferred to other stores. Whistler denied to comment on the reason why the Maple Grove location was closing. A call to Ann Taylor's corporate office was not returned. The upcoming Ann Taylor closing is the latest in a string of clothing retailers to close at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. Earlier this year, Aldo closed followed by Abercrombie &amp; Fitch and Abercrombie Kids in February. The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes has been "caught in the middle" of some "corporate struggles corporations," Jennie Zafft, marketing director at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, said of the recent closings. "We're confident we'll replace those underperforming tenants," she said, stating there has been interest in some of the vacant spaces.
