Blaze Burns Historic Maple Grove Village Hall​

The origin and cause of the fire are not yet known, but authorities have launched an investigation into the blaze.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — A fire significantly damaged the historic Maple Grove Village Hall Tuesday night.

Crews responded to the building at about 9:15 p.m., KARE 11 reported. The fire was found burning at the back building, according to Fox 9.

By 10:50 p.m., the fire crews had knocked down the blaze.

The Maple Grove Village Hall is located at Lakeview Knolls Park. It was used for local government from 1939 until 1975.

The building was most recently used for Maple Grove Park and Recreation events.

Another investigation was recently launched on the Lynde's Greenhouse and Nursery fire in Maple Grove. And in Minneapolis, a historic building was intentionally burned three separate times this summer, according to police.
