Boy, 16, Killed In Brooklyn Park Shooting: Police
Authorities are still looking for the suspect following the shooting near African Market in Brooklyn Park.
BROOKLYN PARK, MN — A 16-year-old boy is dead following a shooting in Brooklyn Park on Friday, according to authorities.
Brooklyn Park police said officers responded to the shooting at African Market, 5700 Brookdale Dr., shortly after 9:45 p.m. When officers arrived, authorities said they found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

According to police, officers searched the area following the shooting but were unable to locate the suspect.
Police did not release the boy's name and did not provide a description of the suspect.
