In addition, hundreds of stylists visit the Maple Grove offices each month to attend a variety of classes on everything, from the latest hair trends and techniques to manager training, giving stylists the opportunity to update their skills and advance their career. In addition, the region is one of the first to certify its stylists as Master Color Artists after they pass an intensive, three-day Redken Color training program.

Peterson: There are more than 100 Fantastic Sams salons in Minnesota
including three locations in Maple Grove owned by Maple Grove residents Rebecca and Chris Nagel.

Peterson: Prices vary by location, but haircuts cost around $14.99 and all-over color starts at $34.99.
