About the Business:

Reimann Counseling Clinic owner Jenny Reimann has made a lot of changes in the past few years.

After practicing in Plymouth independently, Reimann decided to make the move to Maple Grove to expand her clientele base.

“I had lived in Osseo before and remember Maple Grove when it started to grow,” she said. After doing business as Reimann Counseling Clinic in the Weaver Lake Townhouse Office Park, business started to boom.

“I just started to grow. My plan was to sign my lease there and see how big I could get before adding on therapists. And, it worked.  When my lease was up, I needed more space,” she said.

With a goal on expanding Reimann Counseling Clinic, she started looking for a few a new spaces at the beginning of 2011 – aimed at staying in Maple Grove.

“I love Maple Grove, I do everything here,” she said.

With the growth and two additional therapists, Reimann Counseling Clinic, PLLC moved into the Bell Tower South Office Building off of Kirwood Court on Oct. 1, 2011. Visibility, location, additional square footage and overall layout were some of the draws for Reimann to her new location.

“This [space] is about three times as large as my last space and with its own waiting room it offers a lot more privacy,” she said.  “I love what I do, I’ve always wanted to expand. To be where it is – it’s exciting.”

Reimann says her clinic offers a broad range of services to her clients. Personally, she specializes in adolescents with a range of issues from suicidal and behavioral issues all the way to high functioning students as well as adults with depression and anxiety. Kelly Tousignant specializes in helping patients who have eating disorders as well as children and families going through divorce.

Only in her new space less than six month, Reimann looks forward to continued expansion of the clinic in the northwest metro, focused on creating a welcoming environment for clients.

“Throughout my schooling and jobs, I’ve been in a lot of different kinds of clinics. Some are more welcoming than others – as far as the environment and therapists are concerned. Some therapists can be very intimidating,” she said. “I’ve tried to replicate a comfortable place where people feel good about coming to therapy. I think everyone can benefit from talking to an outside person. It’s empowering, it gives a new perspective and helps to develop plan for where you want to go.”
