in Maple Grove recently shared it's new name - Ave Maria Academy- and unveiled its new logo. The new name was announced at a mass offered on the Feast of the Presentation by the Very Reverend Father Peter Laird, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, according to a press release. The Ave Maria Academy name was chosen through a collaborative process involving faculty, families, students, and friends of the school. The name Ave Maria is derived from the Gospel of Saint Luke. Cedarcrest Academy Principal Jason Slattery unveiled Ave Maria Academy's new colors, logo and branding in March. The school has several celebrations scheduled through the spring.
