On Dec. 11, the Golden Valley Fire Department assisted West Metro Fire-Rescue District in putting out a Crystal house fire that started from a space heater.

Tyler Louis Volby, 20, of Elk River, was sentenced Dec. 3 for shooting a BB gun around Otsego from the passenger seat of a car.

Hennepin County Examiner Releases Info on Crash Victim

Sean Kian, 52, died Dec. 4 when his car was struck by a police squad car in emergency mode on Woodland Road and Excelsior Blvd. in Minnetonka.
