Crimson Cheer Challenge Returns to Maple Grove Senior High
The cheerleading competition will be at Maple Grove Senior High Feb. 5.

The Maple Grove Cheerleading Team will once again host the Crimson Cheer Challenge, a cheerleading competition starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 at .
The Crimson Cheer Challenge kicks off Super Bowl Sunday with high school and All Star teams competing from around the Midwest.

“Consider the Crimson Cheer Challenge as a warm-up for Super Bowl Sunday,” said Steve Powers, varsity competition coach at Maple Grove Senior High.
In addition, the event will include a Partner Stunt Group competition and Mascot Spirit contest. The event will end with exhibition performances from college and elite teams.

“This competition is open to anyone in the community and will definitely showcase some of the best cheerleading teams in Minnesota,” said Kristy Anderson, varsity sideline coach at Maple Grove Senior High.
The Crimson Cheer Challenge will also feature several vendors, such as Urban Halo, Pampered Chef, and Wildtree. Spectators can also have Maui Waui smoothies, Lynde’s catering and mini donuts, among many other the food choices.
“Competition cheerleading is back in Maple Grove and we want our community to be a part of the experience,” said Anderson.
Ticket prices for the Crimson Cheer Challenge are:
Adults- $6
Students (with ID)-$5
Children (ages 5-12)-$4
Children (under 4 years)-Free
