Diwali 2015 - Festival of Lights

Diwali – Festival of Lights cultural show will be performed on Saturday 24th of October, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Minneapolis Convention Center. This year’s theme is nature and will showcase Diwali celebration in tune with the five elements of nature.

Diwali, the Festival of Lights as it is commonly known in India, is one of the primary festivals of Hindu culture. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians. Hindus in India and all around the world celebrate the Festival in October.
