Elder Abuse, Abused, Exploited, Alone

Sponsored by Generations Plus, featuring Tony Palumbo, Anoka County Attorney

Are you living a safe and peaceful life? It’s your right at any age. Unfortunately abuse to our seniors is all too often under reported, hard to spot and even harder to prosecute. Most often those abusing the victim are family members and caretakers.

Generations Plus will be hosting “Minnesota S.A.F.E. (Stop Abuse and Financial Exploitation) Elders Initiative” on Tuesday, July 21st from 8:30 - 9:30am at the Plymouth Creek Community Center.

Tony Palumbo, Anoka County Attorney will be our guest. Tony is passionate about protecting seniors by promoting awareness and sharing resources. “If you can help your friend avoid a situation like this, then you are the best friend in the world.” As our senior population continues to grow it can be assumed elder abuse will follow suit. Awareness is key to the S.A.F.E. initiative.

This is a free seminar. Space is limited. To Register online at Event Brite, click here. For more information please contact Generations Plus, 612-564-0055 or online at generationsplus.org.
