The "Sounds of Summer" performances continue at Town Green in Maple Grove. Entertainment includes a tribute to Bob Dylan, comedy and the showing of Toy Story 3 for the week of Aug. 15 to Aug. 19.
Throughout the summer, the city of hosts multiple free events at .
This week at Town Green in Maple Grove, the following performances are scheduled:
- Monday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. - Bruce Bowman (Acoustic Folk)
- Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.– Blood on the Tracks – tribute to Bob Dylan
- Thursday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. – CLIMB Theatre – Anansi the Spider
- Thursday, Aug. 18 at 8 p.m. – Comedy on the Green. Hot Rox Live – hosted by Rox Tarrant
- Friday, Aug. 19 at dusk – Movie by moonlight - Toy Story 3. Co-presented with Maple Grove Hospital.
Consider bringing a lawn chair or blanket for performances at , although there is a terraced wall seating for 300 in the band shell area. Free parking is available and events are subject to change. Concessions are sold during the performance times; picnic, cooler or takeout containers are welcome.
