ISD 279 Adapted Sports fundraiser and informational opportunity
July 20 to July 21- The second annual garage sale for the ISD 279 adapted sports team will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fri July 20 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat July 21. The sale will be held at 14777 92nd Place North, Maple Grove one block behind Country 30 near Fernbrook, follow the sign to find your treasures .
Items included: Household items, holiday nic-nacks, guitar, Golf clubs, Patio set, VHS tapes, CDs, books, (many Large Print) clothes, candy molds, craft items, shoes, and many other treasures.

The proceeds of the sale help support the Adapted Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Softball teams of ISD 279. This unique sports program is sanctioned by the High School Sports league, and they play one season out of each of the District High Schools. It allows athletics with, in many cases, to participate in a high school team, when they have physical challenges that make it hard or impossible for them to participate in other sports programs: some of our players are Wheelchair bound, use walkers, or have other physical challenges.
