According to , the purpose of orientation is to prepare students and families for the start of the school year. The following tasks are to be accomplished by sophomores at orientation:

• Return required updated student emergency/health information sheet.

• Have pictures taken by Lifetouch in music rooms. Every student must have a picture taken for their school ID even if they do not plan to purchase a picture package.

• Deposit money in lunch account in cafeteria.

• Pick up tentative class schedule, check for accuracy and locate classrooms. 

• Purchase a parking permit (eligible seniors and juniors only).

• Meet administrators, counselors and support staff.
