MAPLE GROVE, MN — A former Minnesota Vikings tackle is facing a misdemeanor liquor charge after authorities said an underage employee of his Maple Grove pizzeria sold alcohol to a minor.
On Oct. 26, police conducted an alcohol compliance check at Pieology Pizzeria, located in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes and owned by 28-year-old Matt Kalil. Officers observed a 17-year-old employee sell a beer to a minor, who was working with police, and did not ask for the customer’s ID, according to the criminal complaint.
