Fiddler on the Roof JR by Front Porch Musical Theatre

Family-friendly theatre presented May 15-17 by students ages 12-18.

Fiddler On The Roof JR. is a special adaptation of the classic Broadway musical, which tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion. Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with tradition in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. The show features songs loved the world over, including “Tradition,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Performed at Park Center High School Auditorium, 7377 Noble Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443.

Shows: Fri, May 15, 7pm; Sat, May 16 4pm & 7pm; Sun, May 17, 3pm.
