Four Maple Grove Area Students Named National Merit Scholarship Finalists

Four students from Maple Grove area public schools have been named 2017 National Merit Scholarship finalists. Osseo Senior High’s Collin Sham and Maple Grove Senior High students Allan Khankari, Alyssa Risch and Sikai Yang join approximately 15,000 high school students nationwide as finalists this year.

After earning this distinction, all four Maple Grove area students will compete for one of 7,500 available scholarships, according to a news release from the school district.

Winners will be announced between March and mid-June.
