Gallery: Maple Grove Senior High School Commencement

The commencement ceremony took place Sunday, June 12 at the Target Center in Minneapolis in which 537 graduates in the class of 2011 earned their diploma.

Student speakers at the ceremony were Alexandra Holland and Jacob Epley. The ceremony consisted of the introductions of the high honor students, "Selections from Opening Night on Broadway" performed by the Maple Grove Senior High Band, "The Time of My Life" performed by the Maple Grove Senior High Chorale and "As Summer was Just Beginning" performed by Maple Grove Senior High Symphony Orchestra.

Awarding the diplomas were Superintendent Kate Maguire, Assistant Superintendent Keith Jacobus, Principal Sara Vernig, Assistant Principals Lisa Hartman and Peg Vickerman, School Board Members Tammie Epley and Dean Henke and National Honor Society President and Secretary Elect Ben Beaupre and Jenna Cervantes.
