Get Out in Maple Grove

Maple Grove's weekend entertainment guide to German Beer at Oktoberfest, thinking pink for breast cancer, the blues and sports.




When: Friday, Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 a.m.
Where:
Why Go: Heritage Christian Academy will host seven teams, all vying for the championship.




When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: The third annual event will also focus on breast cancer prevention. There will be several vendors and resources.

When: Saturday, Oct. 15, starting at 6 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Oktoberfest beers, ciders and seasonal food will be served all day. Sean Salisbury will be around from 6 to 10 p.m. with trivia, prizes and photos. The Brute Squad Band will start at 9 p.m.

When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Why Go: Enjoy an evening of live Blues music from East Filmore.

When: Sunday, Oct. 16 at 5:50 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Support the , the Maple Grove Energy as it faces off against the Rochester Ice Hawks.
Price: Adult $8, Student/Child $6, Children under 5 years are Free
