Heads Up, West Metro: Eastbound I-94 To Close At Highway 610

Eastbound Interstate 94 at Highway 610 will close at 8 p.m. Friday, May 12 for pavement repair at the junction of I-94 and Highway 610. During the closure, traffic will detour east on Highway 610 and south on Highway 169 to reach I-94.

Maple Grove Parkway will remain open to I-94 traffic in both directions throughout the closure. Motorists also will be able to travel from Maple Grove Parkway to eastbound and westbound I-94. There will be no impact on the westbound interstate, according to a news release.

Travelers should use the signed detour to avoid congestion and possible delays on the eastbound interstate west of I-94. Weather permitting, the interstate will open to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 15.
