Hennepin County Service Centers No Longer Accepts Visa Credit Cards

The following was released by Hennepin County regarding county service centers, including the one in Maple Grove. The new policy was implemented Jan. 9.

In accordance with a Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services Division’s mandate regarding credit card procedures, Hennepin County’s seven service centers will no longer accept Visa® credit cards.

Discover® and Master Card® will still be accepted. A convenience fee will be charged for each credit card transaction. This fee is charged by the service provider used to handle credit card transactions.
