Sofi is an au pair from Argentina. She is almost finished with her first year with a host family in Elk River, MN. She is hoping to spend her 2nd year in California! Here is what Sofi has to say about her year as an au pair:
“I can totally say that my year as an Au Pair has been the best year of my life. This opportunity gave me the chance to live a completely new experience, to be immerse in this culture and see all about it, to improve my English, to meet amazing people and one of the best parts, travel around the states. In the past 10 months, I’ve been in 8 states. I visited a lot of beautiful places that I’ve never thought of. Although, I think the best part of being an Au Pair is your Host Family. They made me feel as a part of the family from the first time and now I know that I don’t only have my family in Argentina, now I have an American family too…”
