Julia Valley's Benefit

The Joint…the
chiropractic place in Apple Valley, Eagan, and Maple Grove are raising
money in the month of March for Julia who has
Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer. For donating to Julia's Fund,
you will receive a complimentary adjustment! (Limit 1 complimentary
adjustment per charity. Valued at $29)

Before cancer, Julia was
doing all of the normal things that moms of 15 month old little boys
do. Running her son to daycare, working a full time job, and making
weekend plans. Julia was at a Vikings
game one evening in November of 2013 when she felt a lump under her arm.
She thought it was just an allergic reaction to her deodorant, but
decided to get checked out just in case.

After a visit to her
doctor, then a specialist, then a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy,
Julia found out the lump was cancer in her lymph nodes and she was
diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. Within two weeks from her
diagnosis, Julia's cancer had spread from her breast and lymph nodes,
into her chest, collar bone and up her neck. Julia's cancer was severely
aggressive and the doctors decided to begin chemotherapy immediately.


Julia had her first round of chemotherapy on December 12th, 2013 and her
second round on her birthday, December 26th. Since then, Julia has
finished 4 rounds of chemo and continues to smile.

Julia's
outlook this year will not only include 8 rounds of chemotherapy, a
double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, as well as 12 weeks of
radiation, but she is also mentoring others who are going through
cancer, creating awareness, and helping find a cure. We support Julia's
efforts and wish her to be cancer free in 2014!

100% of proceeds will be donated to Julia!
