Man Fled To Wisconsin After Shooting Woman, 23, In Plymouth: Police
Plymouth resident Austin R. LeClaire was apprehended in Clark County, Wisconsin, hours after the shooting, according to police.
PLYMOUTH, MN — A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in the Nov. 25 shooting of a 23-year-old woman in Plymouth. The woman remains in critical condition, authorities said.
Plymouth resident Austin R. LeClaire was apprehended in Clark County, Wisconsin, hours after the shooting, according to police.
LeClaire was charged on Dec. 1 with second-degree attempted murder and remains in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.

On Nov. 25 just before 7:30 p.m., Plymouth police responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 14300 block of 40th Place North.
At the scene, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound. She was given first aid before she was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital.

The gun used in the shooting has not been found, police said.
