Maple Grove Commercial Development: Proposals And Approvals

MAPLE GROVE, MN — What’s going on in Maple Grove community development? City officials say they are seeing more applications coming in for development review. Below is a listing of new commercial developments being considered or recently approved:

• Gateway Retail: This is a proposal to construct a 4,045 square foot retail building and, in part, infrastructure for a future 11,824 square foot retail building. Located at Outlot A and B, Zachary Square Shopping Center.
• EC North (CRAVE & Bank of America): This is a proposal to redeveloping an existing 5,537 square foot sit down restaurant property with a 4,068 square foot walk-up bank with a drive-thru ATM and a 7,029 sit down restaurant. Located at 12730 Elm Creek Blvd.
• Menards Expansion: This is a proposal to construct a 12,384 square foot warehouse addition. Located at 16500 96th Ave N.
• Maple Grove Senior High Tennis Courts: This is a proposal to reconstruct eight existing tennis courts. Located at 9800 Fernbrook Ln.

Here are a few new residential developments coming to Maple Grove being considered or recently approved:

• Mills Creek
  • This is a proposal to develop property into a 66 lot detached rental living community. Located at 8600 Forestview Lane.
• Waters Edge at Central Park 2nd Addition
  • This is a proposal to plat property into 67 attached single-family units. Located at Central Park Way and Forestview Lane.
• Applewood Pointe of Maple Grove at Arbor Lakes / SilverCreek on Main
  • This is a proposal to develop property into an approximate 100-unit senior cooperative, approximately 60-80 senior independent living and an approximately 60 bed long-term care facility. Located at Kirkwood Lane and 82nd Avenue.
• Donegal South
  • This is a proposal to reguide land from Regional Mixed Use to Medium Density Residential for the purpose of developing property into a 133 detached townhome development. Located at 82nd Avenue and Hemlock Lane.
• Hamlets at Rush Creek Second Addition
  • This is a proposal to plat property into 26 single-family detached lots. Located at Alvarado Ln and Xanthus Ln.
