Maple Grove Construction: East Fish Lake Road, Highway 610
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning repairs on Maple Grove's East Fish Lake Road bridge deck.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning repairs on Maple Grove's East Fish Lake Road bridge deck over Interstate 494 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6. Through the use of flagging, one lane will be kept open to traffic.
Also of note: Lane restrictions, ramp closures set for final work on Highway 610 in Maple Grove
Although Highway 610 opened for traffic early last December, motorists will find lane restrictions and ramp closures on the new three-mile stretch of highway between Elm Creek Boulevard and Interstate 94 in Maple Grove. The closures are needed to complete guardrail installation, landscaping and some additional concrete work this spring.

Construction crews restricted Highway 610 to a single lane in each direction this morning. The ramps from westbound County Road 81 to westbound Highway 610 and the ramp from eastbound Highway 610 to eastbound County Road 81 are also closed. All restrictions and closures will remain in place until late Thursday, June 8.
The final three miles of roadway fills in the gap between Elm Creek Boulevard and Interstate 94 in Maple Grove, allowing travel through the northern Twin Cities suburbs unimpeded between I-35W in Mounds View and I-94 in Maple Grove. Highway 610 runs approximately 11 miles between the junction of Highways 10 and 47 on the border of Blaine and Coon Rapids and I-94 in Maple Grove.
