MAPLE GROVE ERBERT AND GERBERT'S GIVES BACK TO ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION
Erbert & Gerbert's in Maple Grove donate platters for a great cause.
Maple Grove’s Erbert and Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop, located at 13670 Grove Dr., is used to seeing happy faces as it provides gourmet sandwiches, soups and sides to customers. But on March 14, the sandwich shop famous for delighting with sandwiches with unique names like Narmer and Girf raised spirits in another way: by donating the same smile-making sandwiches to an Alzheimer’s Association event to raise awareness of the debilitating disease that has recently gained widespread national attention thanks in part to success of the film “Still Alice.”
In support of the Alzheimer’s Association, the sandwich shop donated three sandwich platters to cater the event, half of the association’s order to feed event attendees. This contribution was inspired by a mix of Erbert and Gerbert’s sense of social responsibility.
Erbert and Gerbert’s is no stranger to giving back to the community. Maple Grove Erbert and Gerbert’s has taken part in multiple charitable endeavors to benefit local schools and community organizations. Other Erbert and Gerbert’s locations around the country have also made contributions to organizations such as JDRF, Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity and a number of other, local organizations and initiatives.

“It makes our whole team at Maple Grove very proud to be able to help out any school or community organizations whenever we can,” Store Manager Paul Wallick said. “I personally believe that it is the responsibility of anyone who has the ability, both in our business endeavors and our personal lives, to contribute to the communities that make us a success and I am very happy we had the opportunity to help this event be a success. It’s an honor to be a part of an organization like Erbert and Gerbert’s that shares that same belief.”
