Maple Grove Farmers Market: Produce, Pickles, Preserves and More

As a "nod" to the upcoming Minnesota State Fair and "Discover You Can" initiative, the Maple Grove Farmers Market highlights pickles, preserves and jams at the Thursday, Aug. 4 market.

The Maple Grove Farmers Market is open 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through October in the parking lot near the .

Some of the highlights at the market for Thursday, Aug. 4 include:

  • Plentiful Produce - Cucumbers, corn, beans, peas, potatoes, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, kohlrabi, lettuce and greens, onions, berries, parsnips and more have been harvested and are for sale at the market. More than 55 vendors offer fresh grown produce as well as vendor-made baked goods, eggs, meat and dairy products, cheese, breads, syrups, sauces, jams, honey and candies each week.
  • Sizzling Samples - Sito’s Authentic Lebanese Cuisine is this week’s Vendor of the Week. Other vendors throughout the market may have samples as well.
  • Fabulous Freebies -  Pick up free recipes at the Market Information Trailer highlighting featured products for the week. You can also pickup coupons, canning brochures and get your canning questions answered.
  • Onsite Entertainment – The folk trio Locklin Road performs from 4 to 7 p.m. Pull up a carpet square near the Market Information Booth at 4:30 p.m. for family story time. 
  • Hospital Happenings – Learn about what services are offered to the Maple Grove community by stopping by ’s booth, a Friend of the Market Aug. 4
