Maple Grove Junior High Students Bring Back Minnesota State Fair Ribbons

Technology and artistic skills were rewarded for several Maple Grove students at the 2012 Minnesota State Fair.

In multiple categories, several students from Maple Grove Junior High placed at the 2012 Minnesota State Fair.

In addition to the technology education category above, two Maple Grove students placed in the education – individual exhibit category as well.

  • Lillian Chen received first place for drawing (ink or ball point pen), second place for drawing (pencil) and second place for drawing (pastel) in the grade 7 category.
  • Riley Schatz received an honorable mention in the mosaics category for grade 8.
