Maple Grove Lacrosse Beats Wayzata 10-8

The Maple Grove Senior High Crimson hosted the Wayzata High School Trojans in 6AA sectional playoff Thursday, May 26. The Crimson got the lead early and ended the first period 3-1. By the end of the second, the Crimson expanded their lead 6-3. Offensive play dominated the third period, both teams taking advantage of scoring chances and score was 10-7 at the end of the third. 

The Trojans played a strong fourth period, not allowing the Crimson to net anymore goals, but they could only muster up one of there own. The final score was 10-8, the Crimson will move on.
