Maple Grove Natives to Appear in Bethel University Production of "Urinetown"
The production opens Feb. 23 in St. Paul.

Maple Grove natives Darwin Graser and Katie Rice will perform in the Bethel University production of "Urinetown" this February and March.
This Broadway musical is a comedy story of greed, rebellion, and love. In this musical satire, set during a time where water is a precious commodity, a 20-year drought leaves a city so desperate that their government begins to charge for public restroom use. One citizen chooses to defy the masses, planning a revolution to bring the people to freedom.
Darwin Graser, son of Jim and Nancy Graser, will play the role of Senator Fipp. Graser is a junior majoring in elementary education.

Katie Rice, daughter of Dan and Rindy Rice will play the role of Knee Length Nelly. Rice is a junior majoring in theater arts and communication studies.
The musical runs 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23, 24, 25, 29 and March 1, 2, 3. There is also a 2:30 p.m. Feb. 26 production. All performances are in the Behel Theatre, Bethel University Campus, 3900 Bethel Drive, St. Paul.
