Maple Grove, Osseo Wrestlers Compete at State

Here's how athletes from and fared at the Minnesota State High School League 2012 State Wrestling Tournament March 3 in Class AAA.

Some of the top competitors included Maple Grove's Zack Gawboy, who won fourth in state and Osseo's Adam Hammer who earned sixth in state in their respective weight categories.

106 AAA - Maple Grove's Brad Osatiuk lost to Owatonna's Brandon Moen in the first round.

113 AAA - Maple Grove's Logan Dick lost to Apple Valley's Brock Morgan in the first round.

120 AAA - Osseo's Carson Brolsma lost to Stillwater's Austin Jordan in the first round.

132 AAA - Maple Grove's Jonny Dill lost to Mark Voss of St. Michael-Albertville in the first round.

138 AAA - Osseo's Adam Hammer earned sixth in state, losing to Dillon Kifer of Little Falls.

145 AAA - Osseo's Tony Gamache lost in the first round to Andover's Sam Stewart in the first round.

Maple Grove's Zack Gawboy won fourth in state, losing the third place spot to  Anoka's Jeremy Beamn.

182 AAA - Maple Grove's Jeremy Borchardt lost to Moorhead's Chase Morlock in the first round.
