Maple Grove Population growth among the Metro's highest.

Population in Minnesota's metro area grew from 2,849,567 to 2,909,001 from 2010 to April 1, 2012 according to the Metropolitan Council, and Maple Grove played a large part of it.  Maple Grove remains listed as a "Developing suburb" by the Met Council and among the developing suburbs was second only to Blaine in it's growth adding 3.8% to it's population from 2010 for a April 1, 2012 total of 63,928.

Maple Grove was behind Minneapolis, St. Paul & Bloomington as well as Blaine in growth numbers, however those cities are considered "Developed Cities" by the council.  Of all suburbs, Maple Grove added the 3rd most new residence to it's population

 Continued growth in the population, combined with low inventory in the housing market, and growing demand from home buyers continues to be good signs for the Maple Grove housing market.
