Maple Grove Radio Club Held "Field Day" Event
Demonstrated Science, Skill, and Service

Maple Grove – Members of the Maple Grove Radio Club participated in the national Amateur Radio Field Day exercise on June 23rd and 24th.
Skip Jackson (KS0J), Minnesota ARRL Section Manager, visited the Maple Grove Radio Club Field Day event.
Skip opened Field Day by presenting Roy Wood (W0REW), Maple Grove Radio Club President, with an ARRL Special Service Club banner and the State of Minnesota Proclamation for Amateur Radio Operators Recognition Days. We proudly displayed both items at our Information Booth during the weekend event.

We had a great turnout again this year. 34 members and 36 guests participated and had the opportunity to get on the air.
The next Club meeting will be held on July 10th because of the Fourth of July holiday. Otherwise, the Club has monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Maple Grove Fire Station 2, located at 13450 Maple Knoll Way, Maple Grove, MN 55369, and welcomes everyone interested in amateur radio to attend its meetings.
