Maple Grove Removes Temporary Stop Signs at Fernbrook

The temporary signs were installed at the Maple Grover intersection as part of the Highway 610 construction.

The city of Maple Grove has announced that temporary all-way stop signs at the intersection of Fernbrook Lane and 99th Avenue were removed Thursday. The temporary signs were installed as part of the Highway 610 construction.

"Traffic Control Change Ahead" signs have been placed on all three approaches to the Fernbrook Lane/99th Avenue intersection, according to city officials.

In addition, the "All-Way" plaque below the Stop Sign on the eastbound 99th Avenue approach to the intersection was removed and replaced with a "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" plaque.

City officials ask motorists to be extra aware in this area as drivers get used to these changes.
