Maple Grove Transit Station Construction Begins April 18
Construction work begins Tuesday on the busway at the Maple Grove Transit Station. Your bus route may change as a result.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — Construction work begins on Tuesday April 18 on the busway at the Maple Grove Transit Station. The work involves widening the east entry of the busway.
During rush-hour times, the busway will have a partial closure, but Route 781, 787, and 789 buses will be able to access the normal pick-up and drop-off locations at the Maple Grove Transit Station.
However, during the midday from 9:00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m., the busway will be fully closed and no buses will be able to access the busway or the normal pick-up and drop-off locations at the Maple Grove Transit Station.

This primarily affects:
- Route 781 AM trip #22 that picks up at 11:24 a.m.
- Route 781 PM Trip #1 that drops off at 12:46 p.m.
- Route 781 PM Trip #2 that drops off at 2:46 p.m.
- Route 787 #1 that picks up at 12:46 p.m.
- Route 787 #2 that picks up at 2:46 p.m.
As a result, the above five trips will have a temporary bus stop location from 9:00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. at the east ramp entry of the Maple Grove Transit Station Parking Ramp. This is the Whole Foods side of the ramp. A temporary bus stop sign will be in place at this location.

The buses for the above mentioned trips will detour to this temporary bus stop. To ensure safe pedestrian travel to and from the temporary bus stop location and the Transit Station lobby, an area inside the parking ramp and the east ramp entry will be cordoned off with cones and barricades.
