Maple Grove's Johnson a Finalist for Mr. Lacrosse Goalie Award
The senior helped the Maple Grove Senior High Crimson to an unbeaten regular season and opened the playoffs with a shutout win over Elk River

senior Nate Johnson was selected as one of two finalists for the 2011 Minnesota boys lacrosse Goaltender of the Year Award.
The Mr. Goalie Award winner will be announced Sunday, June 5 at the Grand Ballroom at River Centre in St. Paul, two days before the state lacrosse tournament kicks off.
Maple Grove is currently 13-0 and ranked sixth in the state polls. The Crimson earned the No. 3 seed in the Section 6 tournament, defeated Elk River 14-0 in the first round and will face Wayzata in the quarterfinals at home on Thursday. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
