Maple Grove's New Organic Resturant Highly Praised By Residents

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Arizona-based food and juice restaurant Grabbagreen opened its second Minnesota location in Maple Grove last month, and it's earned high praise and good reviews from residents. The fast-casual restaurant is known for specializing in organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef, poultry, fresh-pressed juice and whole food smoothies.

Grabbagreen is located in the Arbor Lakes Retail Center at 7744 Main Street, Maple Grove.

"GrabbaGreen is a deliciously healthy food oasis in a sea of overly processed chain restaurants in Maple Grove!" reviewer Keren B. posted on Yelp. The restaurant currently has a perfect five-star rating on the website.

Reviewer Gerardo G. said he was "So glad to finally have a healthy fast food option around this area."

Wanted to stop in and give the new restaurant a try, glad I did as I look to improve my eating habits a bit...The menu on the board takes a little time to read, I ordered the Gulf of Mexico without fully vetting whether I wanted grains or greens, which could be easy to confuse.

Luckily, the choice was a good one, a healthy filling option. The shrimp wasn't over-cooked, the avocado dressing very tasty and not over-dressed (option on the side available as well).

The accompanying avocado wasn't brown, the eggs chopped and not over-cooked as well, and spinach was bright and not wilted. Small quibble with the quantity of red onions added with a slightly heavy hand, I'd have less red onion and more cucumber, maybe just a preference.

I do look forward to returning to try other bowls or smoothies in the morning as a good, fast Maple Grove healthy option isn't available, in my mind.

Grabbagreen now has 20 restaurants operating in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The franchise has executed 84 franchise agreements and 174 development agreements since April 2015. Grabbagreen expects to open around 20 stores in 2017.
